Thermal printer working principle:
Thermal printers work on the principle that a semiconductor heating element is installed on the printing head. After the printing head is heated and touches the thermal printing paper, then the desired pattern can be printed. High temperatures will speed up this chemical reaction. When the temperature is below 60℃, it takes a long time, even up to several years, for the paper to turn dark. But at 200℃, the reaction takes place in a few microseconds.
The reason for the illegible handwriting:
1. Power adapter does not meet the requirements. Thermal receipt printers can not produce semiconductor element suitable energy to thermal paper color.
2. Thermal receipt Printer aging. A specific voltage generating less energy, and thus can not make the color thermal paper.
3. Inferior thermal paper. Uneven coating or chemical coating thermal sensitivity is low, the thermal energy generated by the semiconductor element printer can not or not enough to make it change color.
4. Thermal paper thickness does not meet the requirements of thermal receipt printers. Paper and print rubber tire gap is too large. Thermal printer with thermal paper semiconductor element can not be intimate contact.
The solution:
1. Replace the thermal printer paper.
2. Stop working for a while and try printing again.
3. It may be that there is something dirty in the print head. After the print head cools, turn off the power supply of the printer and wipe it gently with anhydrous ethanol.
4. Uninstall the previous printer driver, download and install the driver again.
