Thermal printer working principle: Thermal printers work on the principle that a semiconductor heating element is installed on the printing head. After the printing head is heated and touches the thermal printing paper, then the desired pattern can be printed. High temperatures will speed up this chemical reaction. When the temperature is below 60℃, it takes a long time, even up to several years, for the paper to turn dark. But at 200℃, the reaction takes place in a few microseconds. With the use of long time or improper use, there may be a stuck knife problems. Therefore, we propose the following solutions: Restart printer to let cutter retrieve automaticly when cutter jams. If not, open printer cover and turn the gear to retrieve cutter. If you have more questions, pls feel free to contact us!
